Greetings Friends and Neighbors!

First up is our annual Halloween party which will be on Sunday, October 26th . The times are from 3:30 until 6:00. This way everyone can be home in plenty of time for Packer kick off at 7:20.

Sizzlin’ Sonny’s Rockin’ Road Show will again be the MC and in charge of entertainment. Sonny has been doing this for us for a number of years and always does a bang-up job. Come on out and make it a family night of fun. There will be costume judging for all ages, plenty of trivia with some pretty nice prizes as well as snacks, refreshments and a goodie bag for all children.

November 8th will be our Soup-er Supper with some great tasting chili and homemade chicken and noodle soup, made by some of the best cooks in the County. The noodles are made from scratch and you are sure welcome to join the cooks on Friday night from 4-7 pm. Even if you have never helped before we will be very happy to teach you. It isn’t that difficult and we really could use some volunteers. Just bring your favorite rolling pin and knife or pizza cutter. Call Cheryl (920-410-8171) to let her know that you can help. On Saturday we will start serving at 4:00 and go until 6:30, unless we sell out earlier. The price will be $10 for all you can eat, which includes soup, bread, milk, coffee or juice. Carry out jars of soup will be available for $8 a quart. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed and you will not leave hungry. There will also be a bake sale featuring some mighty tasty treats. We usually have a variety of bread, cookies, bars, pies and whatever else everyone brings in. If you would like to do some baking for the event, it would be greatly appreciated. Any questions contact Cheryl or email: waukauyouthgroup@gmail.com. All baked goods can be dropped off at the youth building on Friday from 4-7 or Saturday from 12-3. We also need volunteers to help serve on Sat. from 3-5 and 5-7. There again, contact Cheryl.

We have received an anonymous donation to cover the cost for all veterans’ meals, which will also include a dessert. Please notify the people selling tickets that you are a veteran. Thank you for your service and enjoy your meal!

Come on out and join us on Sunday, December 7* for our children’s Christmas party at the Waukau Youth Building from noon to 2 pm. There will be crafts, cookie decorating and lunch and hopefully, a visit from Santa. This is for children 10 and under and must be accompanied by an adult Please RSVP by November 30th by email: missruralwinnebago@gmail.com with any questions.
